Real Financial Insights Through Live Sessions

Our webinars aren't about selling you another course. They're about sitting down with people who've actually built financial systems that work. We started hosting these back in late 2023 because clients kept asking the same smart questions — and those conversations deserved a bigger audience.

Each session runs about 60 minutes. No fluff. No scripts. Just honest discussions about what actually matters when you're trying to understand your financial data better.

September 2025: Cash Flow Analysis That Actually Makes Sense

We'll walk through three real business scenarios where cash flow looked fine on paper but told a completely different story once you knew where to look. Bring your questions.

What These Sessions Cover

We focus on practical analysis techniques that small and medium businesses can actually implement. These aren't theoretical discussions — they're based on patterns we've seen across hundreds of Australian businesses.

Why We Started Hosting These

Here's the thing about financial software — it gives you all the tools, but doesn't always tell you which ones matter most for your specific situation. We were getting on calls with clients who'd spent weeks generating reports they didn't need, while missing indicators that actually mattered.

So we started these monthly webinars. Not to demonstrate features (you can read documentation for that), but to show how real businesses use our tools to spot problems early, identify opportunities, and make decisions with confidence.

  • Breaking down financial statements without the jargon — what actually tells you something useful versus what's just noise
  • Ratio analysis that goes beyond textbook formulas — which metrics reveal genuine insights for your industry
  • Spotting trends before they become problems — the early warning signs we've learned to watch for
  • Seasonal patterns that affect Australian businesses — and how to account for them in your planning
  • When to trust your gut versus when to trust the numbers — because both matter, just at different times

The format's straightforward. We spend 35-40 minutes on the main topic, then open it up for questions. And people ask good questions — the kind that make everyone else say "oh, I've been wondering about that too."

Past participants include business owners trying to get better handle on their finances, bookkeepers looking to provide more strategic advice, and finance managers who want to see different approaches to common challenges. The sessions work because everyone's coming from a place of genuine curiosity.

Who Leads These Sessions

Leonie joined us in 2019 after spending eight years working with mid-sized manufacturers around Newcastle. She's got this knack for explaining complex financial concepts in ways that don't make your eyes glaze over.

What makes her webinars different? She doesn't present perfect examples. Instead, she shows you the messy reality — businesses that initially set up their tracking incorrectly, made assumptions that turned out wrong, or struggled with the same issues you're probably dealing with. Then she walks through how they fixed it.

Between webinars, she works directly with clients on financial analysis implementations. So when she's presenting in September 2025, she's talking about challenges she literally helped someone work through that same week. It keeps things current and relevant.
